More than 13,500 people in B.C. have died after taking unregulated drugs since 2016.

Total of 3,970 apparent opioid toxicity deaths occurred so far in 2023 (January-June). This is an average of 22 deaths per day. The number of total apparent opioid toxicity deaths in Canada reported so far in 2023 (January-June) was 5% higher compared to the same period in 2022.

The reality is that today almost 1 in 10 british columbians may suffer from some form of addiction or dependence. This means almost 400,000 british columbians may have some form of addiction or dependence problem today (not including tobacco).

Key Recovery is dedicated to guiding individuals towards lasting sobriety through personalized and compassionate substance recovery treatment. Our History

Key Recovery was founded with a vision to make a positive impact on individuals struggling with substance abuse.

Inception and Founding:
Established by visionary individuals who recognized the urgent need for trauma based and compassionate long-term substance abuse treatment. The founders aimed to create an organization that would serve as a beacon of hope for those navigating the challenging path to recovery.

Early Milestones:
In its early years, Key Recovery focused on establishing a solid foundation for its mission. Key milestones during this period included the development of evidence-based treatment programs, the recruitment of a skilled and dedicated team of professionals, and the creation of a supportive environment for individuals seeking recovery.
